Odisha Art & Literature Festival (OALF) is a beyond-the-borders endeavour to create a space for Odia as well as Indian and international thinkers, poets, writers, artistes, painters, musicologists, translators, lyricists, singers, playwrights, stage directors, cine artists and social scientists for deliberations through panel discussions, interviews, readings, and performances.
It hosts writers and artistes of all genres from Odisha, India, and beyond to create a sanguine atmosphere for cultural dissemination. OALF believes in staying local and thinking global, while celebrating the serendipity of art and staying true to the vasudhaiva kutumbakam (one world, one family) philosophy.
The festival is committed to taking literature and culture to next higher level, shunning all kinds of compartmentalization and taking all recourse to propagating our rich cultural legacy. It is held annually in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, a historically majestic, peace-loving and serene state situated on the east coast of India.
